Ocean Arts Hawaii “likes” Surfrider

Wednesday, October 6th, 2010

Oct 6, 2010

It was a great  Green Drinks event last night at the Waterfront – Aloha Towers.  Great food and films. We met tons of really cool  people and established a new found relationship with Surfrider Foundation O’ahu Chapter… thanks to Stuart Coleman, Hawaii Regional Coordinator.
When you make any Ocean Arts Hawaii purchase, mention Surfrider and we will donate 10% to the chapter. You will also start to see us at many of their upcoming events. We are very happy to support and be a part of an organization such as “Surfrider”

The “Ocean Arts Hawaii” contest is Closed.

Thursday, August 12th, 2010

Congratulations! The “Ocean Arts Hawaii” photo contest is closed. Thank you for all the participation.

Winners will be officially announced Aug 16th… however you can view all the wonderful images posted and clearly see who the “Peoples Choice” winner is. Great job on recruitment! Now I have the very difficult task of selecting the “My Choice” winner.

In the mean time feel free to submit further images (you took) that inspire you. We do, after all, love our photography both above and below the sea.  Also feel free to comment, post suggestions on future contest ideas. We do have one in the works that will be announced soon.

Mahalo once again,

“Less than Eight Hours to Go”

Thursday, August 12th, 2010

Aloha everyone – as best as I can tell there is just about 8 hours left and counting. I love all the photo’s everyone has posted. A nice collection for sure. Don’t forget we have the “People Choice” award and “My Choice” award. It’s going to be difficult for me for sure to choose just one. I may have to rethink future contests (yes there will be more) and offer more categories.

Aloha once again,

-Glenn

Aloha – Life is Good

Wednesday, August 4th, 2010

The “Ocean Arts Hawaii” photo contest is on it’s way and growing daily. The images posted so far are really nice.  I know there are still a lot of you holding out.

Don’t forget to “Title” your images and add comments as to why “you like the image”.  Additionally, don’t forget about the “peoples choice”… we will tally up comments on all images and the single image with the most comments (hopefully nice comments :-) ) will be the “Peoples Choice” winner.

Aloha
